Salt Bagels- simple yet totally amazing!

I had my first Salt Bagel yesterday in Atlanta. It was amazing!! It was served toasted with goat cheese and garlic. I have a new favorite bagel- that is what I get for trying something new. lol! I am going to be thinking of reasons to go to ATL so I can get another. Should have gotten some to go and eaten them for lunch this week. Next time! :)

Bad Weather Blues!

We had some really bad weather come through Friday night in the South. Here is a pic of my mom's yard and some of the damage done to a tree. A tornado touched down briefly a few miles from there but thankfully no one was hurt.

The Flowers are Exploding!

After we had that crazy snowstorm, I was wondering when all the tree would bloom. The were delayed a couple week (and totally missed our wedding mind you) but they are blooming like crazy now. The Dogwood trees, the Azalea flowers, and Cherry Trees are so pretty!

My favorite thing to do lately has been to stand under a Cherry Tree by the post office and shake it and have some the petals fall down all around me! I am loving Spring!

Addicted to Pomegranates

My latest obsession has been with the ready to eat pomegranate seeds they sell at Publix. They come in a bowl in the fruit section by the expensive juices. The little bright red pomegranate seeds are ready to just pop in your mouth like an afternoon snack (just be careful of scarlet stained fingers). I love them sweet and tart flavor. If I get home before dark tonight, I might walk to Publix and get some more! Yum!
