Salt Bagels- simple yet totally amazing!


I had my first Salt Bagel yesterday in Atlanta. It was amazing!! It was served toasted with goat cheese and garlic. I have a new favorite bagel- that is what I get for trying something new. lol! I am going to be thinking of reasons to go to ATL so I can get another. Should have gotten some to go and eaten them for lunch this week. Next time! :)

i felt the same way about salt bagles when i first tried them, in Boston! Many years ago now. Now i brush the salt off. actually, i prefer french toast bagels now. or whole wheat. anyway, its really kind of a jewish deli thing. Although bagels freeze very well, it would be a good little reward when you get back there. we used to always crave Pizzeria Uno (Chicago Style Pizza) and drive all the way to ... the big city. Then they put one in our town and i dont go there as much. i believe its sometimes better to wish for something than to get it. less is so often more! take care. i love your jewelry on etsy. esp the birds. anne
